INVESTIGATION OF THE POSSIBILITIES OF MASS SCREENING FOR EARLY DETECTION OF PROSTATIC CANCER, Nikolai Mirinchev

Abstract: 15% of men diagnosed with cancer are prostate cancer, which is the most common
diagnostic cancer in men. Studies estimate that prostate cancer under the age of 30 has
increased by 5% and increased to 59% over the age of 79. Mass screening is a systematic
examination of asymptomatic men at risk. The research is to analyze the information, to use
the whole strategy for mass screening for prostate cancer in men. The object of the study are
diagnostic methods for the detection of prostate cancer (digital rectal hereditary examination,
prostate-specific antigen, genetic testing for PK, biomarkers, urinary biomarkers, imaging
studies) and the possibility of their use. Diagnostic methods for the detection of prostate
cancer for different age groups are summarized and analyzed, and a strategic plan for mass
screening in men for early detection of prostate cancer is presented. As a result of the
analysis, methods for evaluation of diagnostic methods for screening and early diagnosis of
prostate cancer are presented.
Key words: mass screening, prostate cancer, PSA.
