Introduction: The need of health and sexual education is present in childhood and it includes
access to information and appropriate for the child’s age methods for presenting the
information, offering help and assistance. The sexual and reproductive education in it's core is
health education, culture and education in for adolescents. Goal: To be researched the opinion
of experts regarding heath education of the youth, regarding the need to increase of heath
information concerning sexual and reproductive education, as well as their attitude and their
willingness to go through this process as a team. Materials and methods: Survey method and
analyses of date from a study conducted in July 2021 online asking 190 participants -
obstetricians - gynecologists, midwives and teachers form the cities of Sofia, Burgas , Stara
Zagora and Karnobat . Results: High percentage (96%) of teachers support the need of health
information for the youth regarding sexual and reproductive health and the significance of their
physical and psychological development. More than half (68,10%) would ask a health expert
about the subject. The percentage of the midwives (96,30%) and obstetrician-gynecologist
(76,60%), are willing to participate as a team in educational programs for the youth.
Conclusion: The team approach could increase the education of children for building
knowledge, skills and attitudes regarding responsible sexual behavior.
