COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SURGICAL AND MEDICAL CASTRATION IN WOMEN WITH GENITOURINARY SYNDROME ON THE MENOPAUSE, Pavel Dobrev

 

ABSTRACT: The study discusses the prognostic significance of the factors - age, type of castration, oncological disease for the occurrence of dyspareunia, vaginal dryness, vulvar pruritus, vaginal pH, vaginal cleanliness and amount of lactobacilli, nocturia, dysuria, pollakiuria, urge incontinence, stress incontinence, mixed incontinence in women with the genitourinary syndrome of menopause in women after surgical and medicinal castration. A comparative analysis was made between the two types of castration: surgical and medicinal with regard to the symptoms that make up the vaginal component of the genitourinary syndrome in menopause (GSM) - dyspareunia, vaginal dryness, vaginal pH, vaginal cleanliness, amount of lactobacilli and the urinary component of the genitourinary syndrome in menopause (GSM) - nocturia, dysuria, pollakiuria, imperative incontinence, stress incontinence, mixed incontinence.
